We may share this information with your usual healthcare or senior consultants who work with us and/or if we have to refer you to another practitioner, but always with your prior written consent.
Under the UK Data Protection Act 2018 (which implements the General Data Protection Regulations, the lawful basis we rely on for processing this information is that the processing is necessary for the purposes of the contract we enter into with you and we cannot properly provide the Services we provide to you unless you provide us with this data.
How we store your personal information

Where we store your personal information
Practice Better stores data in Canadian and US data centres. Canada and the US, both are acknowledged as countries which provide adequate levels of data protection :
Practice Better uses Amazon Web Services (AWS), and Box.com under Data Processing Agreements with them.

We keep your personal information while you are under the care of, or consulting with, Dr Hazel Wallace. For the purposes of our insurance, we must retain your personal data for a period of seven years from the date of our last consultation or engagement by you. Any data that it is not necessary for us to keep during the data retention period mentioned, will be securely deleted by us. You can ask us to delete your data at any time subject to our legal right and obligations to retain such information under regulation and statutes of limitations or common law.
